USAGE RIGHTS
Commissions are by default for personal use only (wall paper, screen saver, one-off prints).The commissioner may not use the commissioned artwork to generate profit or for promotion without having reached an agreement beforehand with the artist. The commissioner may not modify the artwork without informing the artist. Commissions will take 4-8 weeks to complete. If I am unable to complete the commission on time, I will notice the commissioner in advance.
Rush commissions are not always possible. Please specify in your interest form if you need the artwork by a specific date.Rush ( 7 days ) : * 1.5

Same Day (24 hours after the acceptance of commission) : * 4MODIFICATIONS
Major modifications (before clean sketch): composition, lighting, pose
Medium modifications (before rendering): color choices, missing setting elements
Small modifications: facial proportions adjustment/ liquefy / filtersDue to the effort invested, any major modifications after entering the rendering stage is not possible without restarting the commission.DISPUTE/REFUNDS
In case of disagreement that results in the interruption/termination of commission work, partial refunds will only be given to the checkpoints not reached.
Deposit will not be refunded once any work has been done.

Check Points (for any work < 150$)1. You pay a 50$ deposit (deducted from final price).
2. I provide the sketch (composition + lighting/coloring plan). You may request up to 2 medium modifications to the sketch. I determine the final price of the artwork depending on the complexity.
3. You approve the sketch plan. No major modifications may be made after this point.
4. I show you the final image. You provide the remaining payment.
6. I deliver the high-resolution file.* modifications beyond the allotted amount will be charged 10$ each time.

Check Points (for any work >150$)1. You pay a 70$ deposit (deducted from final price).
2. I provide the rough sketch/sketches (composition + lighting/coloring plan). You may request up to 2 major modifications to the rough sketch. I determine the final price of the artwork depending on the complexity.
3. You approve the rough sketch plan and pay 33 % of the agreed amount upfront.
4. I provide the cleaned up sketch. You may request up to 2 medium modifications to the cleaned sketch.
5. You approve the cleaned up sketch (composition, lighting, colors mostly settled) and pay 33 % of the final amount. No major modifications may be made after this point.
6. I show you the final image. You provide the remaining 34% payment.
7. I deliver the high-resolution file.* modifications beyond the allotted amount will be charged 10$ each time.

Inspired by the intricate shape of Edo era pierced Japanese sword hand guards, also called sukashi tsuba, my wooden charms recreate the opulent elegance of these art objects through a wooden medium, taking fully advantage of the contrast between the frailness of the cut-line, the smoothness of the printed art, and the grain of the wood.
